  • On Tuesday March 31st Mark Thornton’s Great Lakes Marine Weather Essentials series concludes with Thunderstorm Primer/Creating Your Own Weather Forecast. This is the fourth webinar in the Great Lakes Weather series, and in this session, Mark will cover the different types of thunderstorms and also show you how to pull all your weather information together and make your own weather forecast.

  • This Wednesday brings the third webinar in the Marine Diesel webinar package, “I’m Cool but My Diesel Is Hot,” Marine Diesel Cooling Systems, to the GLCCSchool. In this session master mechanic Jim Zima will review the diesel engine cooling system, its various components and what you as the captain can do to keep the system in good shape and how to trouble shoot problems. This four-part series is a must for all cruisers who are looking for a no diesel drama cruising season.
