The annual business meeting is where members help shape the Club’s future. Beyond that, the reasons to attend include Grand Rapids’ world-class attractions, outdoor recreation, and lively entertainment venues. Discover why it’s been named America’s Best Beer City and a Top 20 U.S. Foodie City.

History and architecture

•    Tour the Meyer May House, a beautifully restored Frank Lloyd Wright gem.

Arts, gardens and riverfront

•    Visit the world-class Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, with its gardens, hothouses and the monumental da Vinci horse.

•    See the offerings at the renowned Grand Rapids Art Museum.

•    Explore Beer City USA by visiting one, or more, of the city’s 40+ craft breweries.

•    Eat at some diverse, award-winning dining spots.

A block of rooms is reserved at the downtown Embassy Suites (LINK HERE), notable for its complimentary evening cocktails and full breakfasts. The hotel is along the scenic Grand River and only steps away from restaurants, breweries and visitor attractions.

This will be a GLCC Annual Meeting not to miss. It offers two Club receptions, a great Saturday evening dinner, and an excellent speaker on the mesmerizing topic of Lost and Legendary Lake Michigan Shipwrecks.

Planning this year’s event has been a committee led by Grand Rapids-area resident Rear Commodore Milt Fuehrer and his wife, Beth, who will serve as hosts. Additional committee members are Vice Commodore Craig Shantz, former Rear Commodore Mark Lifter, Rear Commodore Rob Hillman, and Port Captain Kelly Hillman.

We look forward to seeing you in Grand Rapids. It will be grand in every way.
