Announcing the 2025 Annual General Membership Meeting!

Ahoy, Great Lakes Cruising Club members, mark your calendars!  

The 2025 Annual General Membership Meeting will take place October 17-19 in beautiful Grand Rapids, Michigan. Conveniently located in scenic West Michigan, we look forward to a large turnout of members from both sides of the border!

Planning this year’s event is a committee made up of Vice Commodore Craig Shantz, former Rear Commodore Mark Lifter, Rear Commodore Rob Hillman, Port Captain Kelly Hillman and is led by Grand Rapids resident Rear Commodore Milt Fuehrer and his wife Beth, who will serve as hosts for this weekend.  

From world-class attractions and outdoor recreation to nationally ranked food and craft beverage scenes – Grand Rapids, Michigan is filled with unexpected surprises. Discover why it is America’s Best Beer City, the nation’s Craft Beverage Capital, and a Top 20 U.S. Foodie City.

Grand Rapids is a top ten city to visit, according to CNN, citing the city's vibrant art scene, green spaces, music, culture and, of course, craft beer.  Plan on attending and get an eyeful of spectacular art and an earful of live music. Explore our endless opportunities for family fun, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow GLCC members.
