Rogers City (H-73) welcomes you this summer

Although the harbor is full of ice, Rogers City looks forward to hosting next year’s rendezvous and promises everyone a good time not only in 2015, but also if you visit in 2014.

  • Late fall dredging inside the breakwaters, at the gas dock and along the  channels provides a minimum of 9 feet at chart datum.  We also hope to have a floating gas dock in place by this summer that will make fueling easier and safer-I’ll keep everyone posted when the gas dock is in place.
  • A new/old attraction is the theater which has just reopened with digitalized projection, improved sound, 3d at no extra charge, and new seats.
  • In addition to your favorite long time restaurants and stores, the Waters Edge is now open full time with a new menu.  Its new owner, Peter Dewey, is familiar to many GLCC members from the Village Inn restaurants on Mackinac Island and in St. Ignace.

Harbormaster Roger Wenzel and the dockhands look forward to greeting you this summer.  Until summer arrives you can contact Roger at 989 351-0034 if you have any questions
