Lake Superior is a cruiser’s dream and many of us dream of cruising there. A successful trip to the Big Lake begins with building a solid knowledge base.  This GLCCSchool webinar package will help you do just that.

Lake Superior’s Canadian shore is wilderness cruising at its best --- scattered islands, boreal forests, towering shorelines, abundance of wildlife, protected anchorages, parks with hiking trails, great fishing, secluded anchorages, and many areas of interest. If you are truly ready to go off the grid this is the place to go and this is webinar to get you there. Join Dave Carr this Tuesday for this updated and refreshed webinar, Cruising Lake Superior’s Canadian Shore.

Dave Carr has been sailing in Northen Ontario since he was 13 and cruising since his thirties. Dave and his wife, Carla live near Midland, Ontario where they keep their boat, Quo Vadis V.  Since 1990, Dave and Carla have cruised Lakes Huron, Erie and Superior, and have gained considerable knowledge of Georgian Bay, the North Channel and Lake Superior.

Niels Jensen is a veteran cruiser, a frequent GLCCSchool presenter and an active member of the GLCC.  Niels is currently our GLCC Treasurer and is a past GLCC Commodore. Niels and his wife Vicki keep their boat Freelance on Lake Superior in Bayfield, Wisconsin.

The full series of webinars in this package include: An Introduction to Cruising Lake Superior, Cruising Lake Superior’s South Shore, Cruising Lake Superior’s Apostle Islands, Wilderness Cruising in Lake Superior’s Isle Royale and Cruising Lake Superior’s Canadian Shores.
