Lake Ontario Rally returns to a familiar site

Ahoy GLCC sailors! By popular demand, the annual summer Lake Ontario Rally Aug. 14-16 will return to the lovely Trent Port Marina in the Bay of Quinte (O-34).

The event will kick off on Friday, Aug. 14 at 5:30 p.m. with a meet-and-greet happy hour followed by a casual barbecue dinner on the patio. There are a number of things happening in Trenton that weekend and several local activities to choose from. We can decide over dinner on Friday what we may like to do as a group on Saturday. 

The group will reconvene on Saturday at 5 p.m. for the traditional Gadget Hour and cocktails. Reservations will be made at Tomasso’s for dinner on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

For those staying through to Monday, there is Music in the Park on Sunday Evening following which we can order pizza (wood-fired) for delivery to the marina.

There is no registration fee for this event - all activities are “pay-as-you-go.” However, you do need to register using the online form (link) Please indicate which activities you’ll join, and let us know if you’re staying through Monday.

Please contact Trent Port Marina directly to reserve your slip. Dockage fee is $2.55 - 2.80 /ft per night depending on power requirements. To reserve a transient slip, call the Marina office at (613) 392-2841 ext. 7100, or online at Trent Port Marina.
