Hotel, dock, RV reservations open for Rendezvous

Start planning for the 2026 Rendezvous at Superior, WI (S-187). Rendezvous Chair Niels Jensen is putting together a memorable Rendezvous at Barkers Island for GLCC members, filled with events that will allow attendees to immerse themselves in the area’s scenery, amenities and history. 

Schedule: Arrival day is Thursday, July 9, with a full slate of activities starting Friday morning, July 10. Departure day will be Tuesday, July 14. There may be an option to tour Cirrus Design (aircraft manufacturing) for those that wish to stay an extra day. Watch for details on the website’s Schedule of Events and Registration, coming shortly.

Coming by boat or car, we have something for everyone!  GLCC has arranged for a small block of rooms at the Barkers Island Inn, which overlooks the marina, so while awaiting the full schedule, you can go ahead and reserve the hotel or your docking or RV parking.

Dockage and RV parking: Barkers Island Marina is offering GLCC members a free night: five nights of docking for the price of four. Parking for RVs is also provided at the marina (electrical only). The RV parking rate is also discounted for GLCC members: 50% of the dockage rate.

Hotel: Barkers Island Inn (800-344-7515) has a small block of rooms set aside for GLCC members. The discounted rate for a double queen or king room is $149 (Sun.-Thurs,) and $199 for Friday/Saturday nights. Rates do not include taxes. Mention you are a GLCC member to receive the discounted rate.

If coming by car, it is recommended that reservations be made early to take advantage of the small number of rooms included in the discounted room block.
