Dee McClure recognized with Award of Merit

I was delighted to present, on behalf of our Board, the 2025 Award of Merit to Dee McClure at our recent Annual General Membership meeting. This award recognizes her ongoing support for the GLCC and her exceptional contributions to the GLCC Lifeline.

Dee has excelled at keeping our GLCC members informed through the digital Lifeline, strengthening our Club’s communication and actively fostering greater engagement between the Club and its members.

Dee became a member of the GLCC in 2015, and took on the role of Port Captain for Suttons Bay, MI (M-11) in 2018. She was appointed a Director in 2024, and was named Rear Commodore for Region 39 in 2025. 

Dee devotes considerable time each month to creating, wrangling and managing the content for our Lifeline e-newsletter. The quality of our monthly newsletter is a testament

to her dedication and tireless work.
