2025 Lake Ontario Rally: Summer in the City

Ahoy GLCC sailors! Join us for a weekend rally on beautiful Lake Ontario, mixing on‐water fun with Toronto sightseeing. All GLCC members who boat on Lake Ontario are welcome.

The event will kick off on Friday at 4 p.m. with a happy hour followed by a potluck dinner at the NYC Barbeque Patio. Please bring a dish to share. Activities planned for Saturday include a visit to the landmark CN Tower in the morning, a bring-your-own picnic at Centre Island in the afternoon, and dinner in the NYC Dining room. This dinner is open to all GLCC members in the area; feel free to join us for dinner even if you’re not bringing your boat.

Stay through Monday to enjoy more of what Toronto has to offer. We will organize a group breakfast and/or dinner on Sunday at a local restaurant for those interested.

There is no registration fee for this event; all activities are “pay-as-you-go.” However, you do need to register using the online form. Please indicate which activities you’ll join, and let us know if you’re staying through Monday.

Transient dock space at NYC is limited. You must contact the National Yacht Club directly at (416) 260-8686 to reserve your slip. Dockage fee for the Rally is $1.25/ft per night. Yacht Club Members with reciprocal privileges at NYC will get the first two nights free. You must show your membership card.

Please reserve your slip at NYC and complete the on-line registration form before June 15, 2025. More details will follow by email to all those who register for the event.
