2022 Lake Erie Regional Fall Dinner Meeting
The Cleveland Yachting Club in Rocky River, Ohio (E-11), is the site of the fall Lake Erie Regional Dinner on Sept. 10. Port Captain Ed Mahoney will host. The address: The Cleveland Yachting Club, 200 Yacht Club Drive, Rocky River, Ohio 44116.
Cost for this year’s event will be $59 USD, which includes all taxes, gratuity, and credit card processing fees.
This year’s event will be at CYC’s Center Isle complex. There is an outdoor space available for roaming, the freedom to walk the docks, and of course football on TV. Where appropriate, all 4 of the wall-mounted TV’s will be tuned to the Ohio State-Arkansas game.
The event includes a cocktail hour with cash bar, U.S. dollars only, dinner and dessert.
The featured menu is the CYC Clambake: Little Neck clams, roasted chicken thighs, corn succotash, clam chowder, clam broth and apple pie. Dress is casual with collared shirts.
The CYC harbormaster has placed a priority on dockage requests from GLCC members. Current dockage charges at CYC are $2.50 USD per foot, with a second night free since GLCC is a member of the Inter-Lake Yachting Association.
If you come by boat, please email your dockage request to the harbormaster, Marc Hooley, firstname.lastname@example.org, who will respond with details. Payment can be made by credit card for dockage, but an application for credit must be made in accordance with the information published in the Rocky River, Ohio (E-11) harbor report on the GLCC website. Please take note that it requires three business days to process.
There are several hotels in the area, a Red Roof Inn, a Courtyard and Town Place Suites. Please book hotels early. Dress is casual w/collared shirts.
