  • If you don't already refer to it regularly, you might want to know about the Great Lakes on-line almanac, published jointly by the Canadian government and the US Environmenal Protection Agency.

  • Marge Beaver of Muskegon has just published a 208-page hard cover book, Above the Lighthouses: Lake Michigan, featuring all the 100 lighthouses on the lake in full color aerial photos. Area views show why each lighthouse site was required for safe navigation..
