Mark's interest in weather forecasting grew from his experiences cruising and racing on the Great Lakes. He is a 2006 graduate of the two-year Certificate of Achievement in Weather Forecasting program at Penn State University, and hosts a website, www.LakeErieWX.com, devoted to marine weather education and forecasting.He serves as president of LakeErieWX LLC, a company dedicated to providing marine weather education and forecasting resources for recreational boaters, president of his local chapter of the American Meteorological Society, and is a frequent presenter of marine weather seminars and related presentations around the Great Lakes region.
