I recently went to Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky,Ohio via my own boat, and sayed at the marina for 2 nights. Before I left my home town, I went to my credit union to purchase reduced price admission tickets. ( The local drug stores & grocery chains also offer reduced pre-sale admission tickets. ) When I was registering at the marina, I was asked if I wanted park admission tickets at resort prices. ( When you stay at the marina you are considered a RESORT GUEST. )The tickets were considerably cheaper then any advanced purchases I had ever previously encountered. Here are a few examples of many offered. 1 senior admission was $21.00. ( I paid $38.00) 1 starlight admission was $14.99. ( I paid $29.00.) So my message here is to purchase ALL your tickets at the marina desk, when using the park's marina, and to be cautious about any other advanced bargains you may see .
