Women and Adventure Luncheon at the GLCC Rendezvous! On Tuesday July 19, at 11:30

GLCC members are no doubt the adventurous type. Why do we get ourselves out on the water when we could just look at it from the shore? What’s in it for us, when it’s our own idea? What’s in it for us when we follow our partner? We do it for the Adventure!

As you plan your Rendezvous activities, don’t miss the luncheon on Tuesday at 11:30! This special event of 2016 includes a talk with Julie Buckles, Lake Superior writer and adventurer. For more on Julie, visit www.juliebuckles.com. Julie is the best- selling author of Paddling to Winter. She will make us reflect and smile on this topic of adventure, especially from a woman’s perspective. For additional fun, we’ve asked several other Lake Superior artists to display and sell their beautiful works at tables outside the banquet room. So, rather than having lunch on your own, we do hope you’ll join us! And, of course, everyone is invited, men and women.
