The GLCC Log-Book Committee is seeking a cruising fisherman/fisherwoman who can summarize suggestions for fishing while cruising the North Channel. Where to fish? What to fish for? How to fish for the fish?
What is wanted is a brief (maybe several paragraphs) summary of "how-to" for a newcomer to cruising the North Channel. This is to be included in the "Ideal North Channel Cruise" harbor report, widely read by first-timers cruising up-north.
The assumption is that the cruiser will not be rigged for deep-water fishing (no down-riggers, cannonballs, etc.) but instead will be fishing from the dinghy or from the cockpit of the boat.
If you have the knowledge but not the writing-ability, just send the committee the information and they will do the write-up. E-mail here...
