Hi fellow members:
The Jan 3 issue of The Economist:
has published quite a worrying Special report on the sea. Also published are comments by readers, some of which quickly hone in on global “popullution” problems.
I think the piece is relevant to but does not specifically cover our Great Lakes, and I draw the report to your attention for its intrinsic interest.
In case the ostensible deterioration of our global and local sailing environment is a legitimate concern of our club, I checked our website and by-laws and drew a blank. Do we as a club we have an established position and/or process for dealing with ecosystem issues?
