Mission Point Mac to Mac Regatta

This race is the first of what will be an annual regatta sponsored by Mission Point Resort. This race course will be a fun venue, racing from the Mackinac Island Harbor, to the Mackinac Bridge and back. Mission Point will be providing a great party and awards ceremony following the race at “The Bistro”, on the grounds of Mission Point.

The first warning gun will be at 1:00 PM EDT. The party and awards will be immediately following the race. There is no entry fee.

PHRF Certificates

For all boats that do not have a current PHRF (Performance Handicap Racing Factor) Rating, you are encouraged to secure a certificate. The Lake Huron PHRF Association is the designated certifying body. However, if a boat has a current PHRF certification from another certifying association, it will be honored.

The cost for securing the certificate is 40 USD. The certificate will be renewed for free every year thereafter, as long as no changes have been made to the boat or sails, and the request is made by April 1. IF YOU DO HAVE A CURRENT PHRF CERTIFICATE, INSURE YOU COMPLETE YOUR REQUEST FOR RENEWAL BEFORE APRIL 1 TO WAIVE ANY RENEWAL FEES.
