Lake Superior Adventure

jspete - 11 June 2008

We are planning to cruise from our home port in Sister Bay, WI to Lake Superior beginning June 17th aboard our 38' Beneteau sailboat and would love to meet up with members who will be in that area.  This is our first trip to Lake Superior, so we would also appreciate any feedback on our itenerary as this is a a "once in a lifetime" trip for us.  We're trying to hit all of the highlights and all of the "must see" areas while spending enough time in each area to enjoy the experience.  We have started a blog at www.sailblogs.com/member/charrette for those who would like to follow our adventure.

Looks like a great trip!

My own preference would be to go to Michipicoten Island (Quebec Harbour) rather than Pilot or Ganley, but it's kind of a toss-up.

Best wishes for a good trip.
