CMU's Institute for Great Lakes Research, along with GVSU's Annis Water Resources Institute, will bring the nation's leading Great Lakes policy adviser, Cameron Davis, to campus Friday, April 4 as part of a symposium titled "Great Lakes Science in Action: An Interdisciplinary and Multi-Institutional Approach." Davis is the senior adviser to the administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and oversees the $1.6 billion Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
Presenters will discuss innovative Great Lakes research, restoration and conservation efforts and their impact on the regional economy. The symposium is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in French Auditorium of the EHS Building. All are welcome to attend and lunch will be provided. The complete schedule may be viewed here.
