Watch for your 2012 Rendezvous Registration Form. The form will be available on the website in early January along with a preview of what's in store for this year's event. As space will be limited to 100 boats, registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
A highlight of this year's Rendezvous will be a Sunrise Breakfast Cruise on the Island Queen. The Island Queen will depart the Parry Sound town dock on the Monday morning of our Rendezvous and will wind its way out the narrow South Channel and into the centre of the area's 30,000 islands. While enjoying a buffet breakfast you will be amazed at the scenery of this area, now designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
Throughout the Rendezvous, your registration will permit you to climb the Parry Sound Lookout Tower giving you a panoramic view of the Town and the Bay. At the base of the tower is the West Parry Sound Museum showcasing the history of the region and it particular, its marine heritage. Don't forget your camera.
Our Marina is next door to the Canadian Coast Guard Base and the Ministry of Natural Resources. Staff will be providing special interpretive programs for us about the status of the Great Lakes fishery, bear management, and the marine parks up and down the Georgian Bay shore. These sessions should not be missed!
Parry Sound officials are actively at work on our behalf and you will be pleasantly surprised when the Town rolls out the Red Carpet for us in July.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at 705 435-3834 or firstname.lastname@example.org
See you in Parry Sound.
