I'm planning a cruise to the Canadian Maritimes beginning with a transit of the Welland Canal at the end of May, 2011. I welcome any input on charts, guides, ports, facilities, local knowledge, etc. I've spoken with Bill Rohde and am reading his log. It is terrific!
Is anyone else planning a similar trip in 2011? I'm interested in the possibility of finding a "Buddy Boat". It probably doesn't make sense to try to literally sail together, but it would be nice to cross paths and share info every now & again as the trip progresses.

We have been interested in this trip and 2011 may be the year. I will try to send you an email once we get off the boat and back home which should happen by 9-15.
